Oooooo.... Ahhhhh.... lots of Pew Pew goodness. Glock fan. Me too. Carried a G 22 for my entire 18.5 year LE career, and its still awesome!

Come on, post em up. Lets see what we can get on this thread in a week.

Got a few I'd love to post but never figured out this picture posting thingy. SOOOO, guess I won't. But love looking at all of yours.

Yeah, one of my best shooting buddies thinks that it's not a good idea to post on social media pictures of your guns. Be kind of hard to deny that you have them when they come for them. Paranoid? I don't know, but he may have a point.

Funny thing, I take one hunting and always seem to forget it in the field somewhere. Must have lost a couple dozen that way. Down to my last one, the old Red Ryder. Not sure how effective it will be on coyotes. Saw a bb bounce off a robin's chest one time when I was a kid.

So interesting back story. Got this at Christmas as a kid. Used it, abused it, carried it all over, made a leather sling, it was a constant companion till I got my bl22 as payment for haying wages when I was 12. Fast forward to about 15 years ago, telling someone I had the old Red Ryder with the compass in the stock. He says "Red Ryder's didn't have compasses". I said mine does. So I go to look it up on the web, mine was the Christmas Story version, made the year of the movie with Ralphie. I had no idea. I still have the box, and it says right on it also, Special Christmas Story edition.

And yes, I almost shot my eye out with that thing. Shot at a steel post for some reason. BB came back and hit my glasses in the lens. Only time I've been glad I am near sighted.

If it comes to that point, I think there's going to be a lot more to worry about. The sheer man power needed to confiscate them would be immense, I truly dont think there would be enough people on board with that. On top of that, if you have ever filled out any state required paperwork to buy or transfer a handgun, they keep record of that through the state. Likewise, a 4473 probably has all of your names and info on it in a filing cabinet somewhere. The NFA guys pretty much gave the government everything about em when they filed for a tax stamp including the color of your underwear and your drink of choice.

I use IMGUR, super easy to upload em and then click the Boards and Forums link and copy/paste it where you want it.

If the mods deem any of the hunting shots too "gruesome" for this thread, let me know, Ill delete em.

I hope I'm not gonna be the only one here posting, come on fellas!

Funny how a gun can have such fond memories. That MVP at the top, was given to me by a friend. He was down on luck one year when we were all getting nice 17 hmr's and he was in a custody battle and just couldn't... I was in a good place, so he got a gun for christmas.

Few years later I was out of police work after a hereditary heart condition forced a retirement that the state didn't agree with. We had see the MVP's and made a deal that when we could both get one, we would. Two weeks later he calls me over and shows me his new MVP.... then hands me a box... gotta say, I was touched.

Matter of fact, today I called him over to my house.... and made him help me put the bed cover back on my truck... but hes just that kinda friend.

There was this boating accident out on the Great Salt Lake. I was duck and varmint hunting along the shore. I was under the water a long time and the lack of oxygen was detrimental to my memory. I was told I lost everything and nothing has been recovered. Sorry I have no pictures of what I used to have.
