I went back 35 pages and never found any info, not to suprising for a varmint or predator forum. I was curious if anyone on here loads for it. Thanks in advance

58.0 grains of Retumbo, FGMM210's Gunwerks Brass, 139 Scenars. My first loads were under 1/2 MOA so I just let it be, I could probably get her down to 1/4, but too lazy right now.

Unfortunately some of the best powders for the 6.5 PRC are also the most difficult to get so unless you already have a stash of RL26, H1000, or Retumbo you'll have to go with other powders. I think IMR8133 is supposed to work relatively well too.

The 6.5 PRC is quickly becoming a very popular cartridge and I'm sure if you google 6.5 PRC load data you'll get enough reading material to keep you busy for days testing.

I have some reloader 25 and some us869 is the only thing I have on hand I was thinking the us869 would be to slow, I'll find out though.

I've been burning 57.2grains of VihtaVuori N565 behind a 143 ELDx for 3100FPS 1/2 MOA . Sweet expensive stuff . FED 210 Match primer 26" bbl and I have room for more, just don't see the need unnecessarily expand primer pockets in search of top velocities. My 257 WBY produces all the high velocity I need.

I’m working on a load right now. So far 57.1 gr of 7977, Hornady once fired case, lg rifle mag primers and a Berger 156gr is promising

I have owned a couple, and done load development for a few others. Great cartridge, nice increase over a Creed or 260 without getting into the real overbore crowd. I like RL26, H1000, Retumbo, Magpro for loads in the 140-156gr range

Here’s a load a friend of mine swears by. I just ordered some 147s to try it out myself but It’s his pet load that has worked great in 3 rifles so far.
6.5 prc
Fed 215 primer specifically
53gr N560
147gr eld-m
2.965 oal

He didn’t specify brass so I’m not sure on that. I figured I have Hornady and adg, I’ll work up both and see

I've built 2 of them. First was a long range plinker, second was a hunting version.

Both preferred H-1000.

S/S 700, 24" Bartlein, McM stock, TT trigger, NF scope, Seekins R&R.

140 Bergers at 3100.
