Deadly daughter

My daughter, Erin, put it right behind ones ear this morning. We were hoping for a doe or good buck, but only saw a medium buck right before good light, and a spike before and after she shot the hog.

We had about 8 come to the feeder all this size. I spotted a sow with the binoculars and she did the rest. .257 Roberts with a 90 grain Sierra Game King found the mark.

Not very big, but a couple of small ham roasts and back straps.

Edit: We went back Sunday evening and she got her doe. We saw 5 bucks, 3 does, and a fawn. Bucks were too small.

another perfect shot. The 90 grain Sierra Game King Venatic loads for me are devastating.

Congrats to Erin and her Pa!

Good job to the Huntress, the Pa who helped raise her right and chose a good time honored rifle/cartridge combo!

The Game King series has been a favorite ever since I used their 55 gr in a 22-250 on coyotes.

That deer is just about the right size for eating.. Nice job! Of course, I would have passed on the sow (Lol - yea right)

I enjoy taking my kids when I can, hard to shuffle schedules to get it done some times though.
