Best night vision/thermal scope under $1000?

I don't think a 1000 dollar thermal scope would allow you to "ID" the target, digital night vision with IR will allow ID animal in open areas. The Wraith no problem out to 200 yards. Follow up shots, not easy.

For the price you simply can't go wrong with the Sightmark Wraith. I prefer the 2-16x28 over the 4-32x50 simply because of the field of view is substantially better on the 2-16. Both are very capable though.

This picture was through the 4-32 at 4x around 9pm or so last month. It was 150 yards to the feeder in the picture. This was using the factory IR light. This picture was taken through the scope with my phone. I was pretty impressed with the image quality at that distance and not having to purchase an additional IR light. The image through the scope is much better!
