My 7 year old Night Optics D740's flip up lens cover broke, anyone know where I might find a new one?

You could try contacting Bering Optics at sales@bering.com or 817-453-9966. I am fairly confident someone had told me in the past that Bering helped fix a Night Optics NV device. It might be a long-shot but worth trying.
 
The "hinge"(or whatever you want to call the piece of rubber on each side of the cover) on my D760 broke a couple of years ago. I used rubber cement to glue it back and so far it has held up but we're really careful with it now. I've touched it up at least once that I remember.

If you can't find a replacement maybe this fix will get you by. Look for a quality rubber cement that will fuse the rubber back together. From experience super glue does not last.
