with the way stuff is going these days you need to pretty much shop daily to check for availability and pricing.
speciality ammo is more readily available from the boutique manufacturers but thats a price per round thing. not many folks hording 1.50/rd type ammo eh?

I agree, it's pretty lean out there. What you can find is going to come at a premium price too.
