I found a used Tikka T3x .223 8 twist last January. I was going to put a SWFA 10 mill quad
scope on it. Load up some 75 gran Vmax bullets I had and try 600 yards or more. Well these scopes have been back ordered for months now. I don't think SWFA knows when they will get more in. I've been itching to get to shooting this rifle. I'm not going to spend big money on a dial up scope. Any ideas on a scope that would work without spending big money?

What's big money? What's the max magnification range you're looking for? Just to punch paper? Hunt?

Good low cost I'd go woth a Burris 4.5x14x42 e1. Usually can find one around $200

I have rifles setup for calling. This will be for shooting steel/targets. 10 to 16 power on the top. I was all set on buying a $300. SWFA but that's not happening.
I've thought about that Burris. I have 2, 3x9 e1 retical on deer rifles. Very good scope for the money.

I see Midway has Sightron Slll 3.5x10 with elevation knobs for $400. Can't find many reviews on that particular scope.

Weaver V series.. I've used them alot in the past, very reliable scopes.
Nothing wrong (IMO) with the burris fullfield either.
