If I go 6mm considering an X Bolt [beeep]’s canyon or a cheaper Ruger predator. If I go 6.5 pretty sure I’m going with the Bergara B14 Ridge Wilderness. Thanks!
I have four 6.5CMs and two 6mmCMs.
The 6mm is easier to develop loads for in my opinion. With my handloads I stay under two inches (1.75") at 515yds. None of my 6.5CMs shoot below 5" at 515yds with hand loads or factory. (Ruger RPR, Tikka T3x-SL, MSR, or Savage 111.
The 6mms are an RPR and a Savage 110 Tactical.
You can load from 55 grains to 115 grains. My 107gr loads are at 3017fps. That's the lower node, there is a higher one but I've not gone there.
Good luck!
