If you have not tried any of George's bullets

9mm 124g expand to 69 caliber

40 cal 180g HP expand to 79 caliber

Bullets arrive exactly like you see in the picture.

You have a choice of size and alloy

they are unreal accurate, every bit if not more accurate than jacketed bullets!

I cast my own pistol bullets and buckshot, these rival the best I have ever accomplished.

GT bullets are excellent bullets. The bullets are around 12-15BHN (IF I remember correct ) this allows for expansion and yet they are not so soft as to lead up your barrel.
For another pro,,,, you do not have to have Mach 1 or 2 velocity. This gives you less recoil and a faster follow up shot, especially in pistols. Cheaper than Jacketed, so what is not to like?
For a young shooter or someone who is recoil sensitive, a bullet such as these can be loaded with Trail Boss for a reduced load. Of course different calibers with different powders, can be used.
Load data can be found in some books but the Lyman cast bullets book is one of the best. Quick Load helps, and castboolits.com has some published data. But as always start slow and work up.
