We hunted a wheat field tonight that was picked last week. Farmer had already burned the stubble and replanted beans. Still there was an abundance of mice and rats, but field was bare. Anyway I called this one in. I did a couple of howls on the hand call and then challenged with the E-call and then went to pup fight sound. It worked well on this one!

Here he is, a young male probably last year's pup with teeth nice and shiny. Range was just over 280 yds. I would have liked to get him closer but he was right in our downwind so I took the shot.

I've had very good results with the 58 V-Max. I know a lot of people are disparaging of V-Max bullets, but they have worked very well for me.
