So due to my wife having disc replacement surgery on Monday morning I couldn’t get out and hunt. My hunting partner texted me yesterday with two separate complaints of coyotes in pastures from farmers. Like I said I couldn’t go, so I asked my son if he wanted to go with my partner. He begged me to take my thermal gun. I figured why not. So they left about dark and did three sets . They seen a set of dogs across the road on unhuntable land at first set. And second set came up empty . On third set after 3 mins of some Boss Predator Acoustics rabbit sounds . One charged out of thick brush . My son stopped him 5 feet from call with a .233 bullet . It spun a few times and he shot again, dropped it.
Not bad shooting for a 16 yr old.

And yes! We are loving the Hogster 35mm. And this just adds to the anticipation of next time out hunting!

It never gets old!

Wish I coulda been with him . But my buddy says the look on his face was priceless.

I was with this kid on his first deer bow kill, I know the look. Lol
