Flew to Texas as my buddy got me a helo hog hunt for my 50th birthday. It was epic. KelTec .308 Bulpups and shooting from a chopper... OMG.
Only there for less than 3 days total.
Arrived Thursday, checked into the motel and ate dinner. Got up, chow and to the hanger by 830. 4+ hours of how not to die. Then we were off. Had to fly about 30 min to get to some unhunted ground... some next to a prison!!
Shot 32 pigs between us, even got some on the water.
One of the coolest things was flying from one field to another, over a tiny one road town. Like 100 feet up, hanging out of a helo with a machine gun, and a lady walks out of a charge, looks up at me, smiles and waves.... like no big deal...
I have go pro footage, but have not had time to edit.... .
