Miss and Recover

Came home from Church tonight, and decided to scan the field from the window about 9:15. Lo and behold here comes a coyote up the freshly planted field. Unfortunately the video wasn't as sharp as normal and I didn't have time to adjust it to the best picture possible. I hurried my shot and missed him at about 250 yds. He ran about 50 yds. and stopped. I double lunged him on that shot and he was DRT at 300 yds. Here is a picture.

It is really a game-changer for multiples or follow-ups. You could tell he didn't know which direction the sound actually came from and was looking back to where he had been. A 243 is pretty loud without a can, but it sounds about like a 22 when suppressed with the Varminter 4.0.
