Screwed up on a double...so frustrating

Just got back from a quick set with my 9yr old, not her fault she is a pro... hit the call for a few lone howls and got a group answer, about 15 minutes later I was looking around and spotted 2 coming hard from behind us. I should have just stopped right there and waited for them to come in to give me a shot but I tried to force it and got busted...lol

Man its so rare to see them makes me sick to know I blew it...

Go back in a couple weeks and try it again, they are probably the dominant pair with pups?

Wind is rarely right in that spot I'll be back for sure. Going out tonight to try another place with the kiddo, she loves it.

Where were you hunting?

I have a good population around me, that's for sure. I had my trails cams up in buck season and had more dogs on camera than bucks.
