Guess my Burris Eliminator III is out dated. I was reading a firearm industry magazine today and Burris has announced a Eliminator IV now. Ranges 2500 yards with some other options on it. MSRP is $2000.00. Still 4-16x50.
Sure would be nice to go 2500 yards. But something seems fishy to me , 2500 range but only 16x power. I don’t see how you could see much farther than 1000 -1200 yards at 16 power ? Very odd to me. MD

Yeah I saw that also. I'm pretty happy to get a bargain on a III, they range far enough for what I do for now. But improvements are always welcome also.
 
I have 2 and like them for what they are. If they don't put better glass in them. It will still be a $750 scope no matter how far it will range!
 
I agree about the glass!

This season I am going back to my .243 Savage with a Burris Veracity scope.
My partner and i have decided to sell this years Coyotes on the carcass.

This Savage his the most accurate rifle I have in my arsenal, + I have a lot of .58gr Superformance to go through;-)
