I shot at 35 and 55 yards too. 35 yards basically all 108 pellets were in the dog . 55 yards 80 pellets

Perfect example then. You shot at 55 yards and got 80 hits. And shot at 60 yards and only put 41 hits on target. You lost 39 hits in only 5 yards! Extend the range x3 another 15 yards even further out and who knows how few hits you might or might not make. It's too far to guess at results.
