Just got a browning micro medallion 22 hornet, it came w/ a tasco 4-16x40mm scope. But I have a leupold 1.5-5, nikon 4-12x40mm or old weaver post crosshair 3-9x40. Or should I find a compact scope? What do you guys think? Both my single shot hornets I have 3x9s on those.

What are you going to do with it? Calling coyotes in thicker cover would be a whole lot different than shooting ground squirrels in open country. I have one 222 Rem with a 1-4x20mm on it and another with a 6.5-20x40mm on it.

I'll be shooting squirrels n sage rats out to 150 yards, calling range would be 20-70 with long shots at 125 yrds.

I'd say a 2.5-10, 3-12 or 4-16 would work well if you have the cash there are some 5 times and 6 times power ratio scopes out there that will give you more X's on the top end.
