Mexico is getting one. 500 more miles by December.

You might not know it Frankm but Mexico has been paying for the wall. The Wall is not only steel and concrete but also technology and human surveillance. President Trump successfully persuaded the Mexican government to post thousands of Mexican National Guard troops on their southern border and to detain illegals coming from South and Central America. That's why over the past year or so the percentage of illegals from South and Central America is a fraction of what it was.

Bears repeating^^^^^^^^^^

I live a mile from the border and the shooting bench on the outdoor range I shoot on regularly is 100 yards from the river.
The number of of apprehensions & wet footprints in the area has diminished considerably in recent months.

Anybody that was ever in the Infantry would know that a wall or obstacle is not worth much to stop attackers. You always need to back it up w/ artillery/machine guns to have somewhat of a barrier.

Hopefully Chuck, America will never need artillery and machine guns to defend the southern border. But, should it come to that, we have them.

Lots of federal and state assets deployed along Texas southern border, bicycle patrols to drones and everything in between have increased efficiency of the border wall. Has it stopped all illegal entry, of course not, but traffic has been noticeably decreased.

Yes hm. I was attached to Admiral Zumwalt's brown water navy in Nam. Your photos remind me of the PBRs used while patrolling the Mekong River, Mekong Delta and tributaries. Not very much got thru the wall of lead put up by those gun boats.
