OK, I was out "testing" today.
8mmRM, 200 TSX and 220 Serra.
Mag Pro
h1000
RL 26.
100 yards off bags.
For whatever reason, the 8 Will NOT shoot Mag Pro with either bullet.

The H1000 showed some promise with the 220 gr but with the higher loads I was testing was a no go in fact It over Pressured on the first test.

VERY hard to open the bolt.

The RL 26 looked good with the 200 last time, so we upped it and tested again.

84.5, 85, 85.5 and 86 GR.

84.5 was ok but the 85 was outstanding, 85.5 opened up and 86 barely stayed on paper.

SO is this "good enough"? Speed is right at 3100 FPS.

That's under 1/2"(12.24M) at 100 yards.
I'll revisit the 220's later maybe but I think I found my load.

Nah, you're gonna have to tweak and tune more......adjust your seating depth 12 different ways, try 6 more bullets and 5 more powders......you'll never satisfy this crowd with just 3 powders and one bullet! LOL - go forth and kill big stuff with it. I would guess that puppy hits hard on both ends??

With that much powder, seems like the node should be more like 1.25-1.5 grs. If will repeat that group a couple times, probably just run with it, or start buying 8# powder jugs.

I came home and did 5 more yesterday.
Went today the wind was a LOT higher but all 5 went into a .6"- 16mm group.
Looking for at least 2 or 3 more pounds of 26.
I think the Bed and Piller work I did worked out ok.

I would consider trying different primers and see if that makes an improvement. Where are you finding brass?????
