Want a lightweight stock (Rem 700 SA)

I am having a 20 Prac built, and the object is total lightweight/maneuverable. Probably go 16.5-18" barrel, already decided on X-caliber #2 contour. Don't want to spend the money or wait for a McMillen edge.

I am thinking of getting a B&G Alaskan or TI. Something around 26 Oz. This is going to be a calling rifle setup, most likely 50-100 yard shots.

What's your all recommendations/experiences?

I could have just bought a CZ 527 in 204 and cut the barrel, but where is the challenge and fun in that?

But I already have that base covered with a CZ 17 FB being done up presently.

McMillan edge stocks, AG Composites all real nice for LW. I ve had B&C with alum bedding block and they re quite a bit heavier... like 1/2 lb more than the carbon/graphite ones.

Manners have some light stocks also but don't have experience with them.

Have a couple Bansner/Legendary Arms stocks and very nice. Require some work, bedding, pad, etc though. 22-24 oz range

I bought a used B&C Rem. Ti SA stock. In excellent shape. Just waiting for the barrel to arrive at my favorite gunsmiths shop.
