Supreme court ruling bad for the gun industry and 2A.

The storm clouds are gathering, indeed.

If this doesn't spur the fence sitters to join NRA and or other gun organizations, nothing will.

I'm pro-gun and pro 2nd amendment but am not pro NRA. Are there any other pro-gun groups that are out there and are willing to sue the government to make sure that we keep our 2nd amendment rights. The NRA right now is a mess with the infighting. And the amount of money they are paying Wayne is outrageous. There is no way that I would give the NRA any money when they are spending all that money on Wayne's clothing and other expensive accessories. What is the Gun Owners of America Organization like. I want an organization that will spend the money we give them on lawyers that are suing to fight or our gun rights.

No body works for free even in nonprofit groups. To much work and to much time. NRA is the largest and most powerful group of it's kind. I too grow tired of the BS with Wayne.
GOA is a good one to donate to but not nearly as big or as much clout.

GOA is a very good organization, IMO, just not the clout of the 5 million plus members of NRA. You want a hard core pro-gun group, look into Jews For The Preservation of Firearms Ownership.

If, you don't like NRA, support whatever pro gun group you choose; they're all good but some are a lot better than others and none carry the clout that NRA does, nor have they been in the fight nearly as long as NRA.

Not wanting to pick an argument, but I gotta say that it would be much more effective and less destructive to our cause to take our gripes directly to NRA rather than complain about them (or any other pro-gun group) on line which just adds volume to Bloomberg's and other socialist anti-gunners who use the "divide and conquer" tactics to destroy their opposition (NRA in particular).

Additionally, there are a number of good state Rifle/Pistol associations as well that can all make good use of funds/volunteers, etc. to help fight for our rights. TSRA (Texas State Rifle Assn) for one. Look at what Virginia Citizens Defense League accomplished in Virginia with their recent pro-gun march in Richmond.

We can all add something to the fight to retain our 2nd Amendment rights by supporting whatever pro-gun group we choose, just do your homework and pick the one that fits you best, but we can be much more effective in our efforts when we gee-haw together.

Ditto.

While the NRA puts out some pretty good sounding ads talking tuff... over the years I've pretty much come to the conclusion that the NRA is by and large run by a majority that believe the 2A is about duck hunting and trap shooting/target sports first and foremost. It seems as though they're always at the ready to ben dover on a whim in order to play "let's make a deal" with the gun grabbers.

That smooth talker from the NRA-ILA wants to help the gun grabbers achieve red flag laws...that isn't being a pro gun organization and is quite the opposite. That is being a gun grabber or a facilatator to gun grabbing.

In Colorado, the red flag law haden't even been on the books 9 days until it was abused by some anti-police lunatic trying to red flag a police officer up in larimer county Colorado.

If this is what the NRA is supporting they will not receive a dime from me.

This guy had an interesting break down of the situation.
