A little treat today(a twofer)

Was in for a little procedure yesterday and was kind of out of it yesterday and was still feeling a little out of it this morning BUT decided it was such a nice day I needed to get out and decided to try another new area close to home.

Two stands one at one end of a little drainage and the other at the bottom end of it about 3/4 mile apart. Had coyotes come in under 2 min on each stand and then had to run about a mile and a half to find a windmill to skin them on.

It was a fun afternoon and I still made it home for scotch time with my wife.

I don't hunt big game anymore, just birds and coyotes. I am looking forward to roaming the desert early next season with a sxs stuffed the scabbard for quail. Being new down here coyote hunting is my first love and I need to get a good fix this year.

I am really getting to know the country, I have just about a 1000 miles on the bike and have only hunted one stand twice. Each day I go out I try and pick a different area and spend the time exploring each two track and looking for decent calling areas.
