Nightforce NXS and NX8

Hi Guys,

Looking at the new NX8 Nightforce came out with...is there any benefits of an NX8 over an NXS other than the wider magnification range?

I noticed some places dropped their prices on the NXS. Does anyone know if they are going to keep the NXS around now that they have the 8’s?

NXS older design and dated, second facial plane, high price for a unchanged optic..... NX8 new design, better glass, more mag range and first focal plane. Current pricing I would go NX8 but I can deal with first focal plane also. I haven't seen great prices on NXS, discounted briefly last month, would like to see some of the dropped prices I would take another for the tight price.

The nxs models have proved themselves again and again. I will wait to see if the nx8 can live up to its predecessor.
 
My understanding is same glass as nxs,ffp reticle, two color illumination,smaller and lighter, and offered in more versatile magnification range.. nice feature set which has been needed for a long time
