I got drawn for an either sex deer, exotic, javelina hunt near San Angelo a couple of weeks ago.
The hunting wasn't as good as I had hoped, but we managed 2 get a couple of bucks and a javelina. No exotics seen by me or Venatic.
I got a 6.5 year old buck with a narrow rack, and David got a 3.5 with a wider rack.
My javelina made the Texas Big Game Awards. Javelina is a fairly new category, with a 13 4/16 minimum. Mine was 14 11/16.

David took his with the 6.5 PRC at 280 yards.
I didn't get a picture of the javelina for some reason, but you can see the edge of the skull in the picture. The skull has to be completely cleaned before scoring so I did a european on it as soon I got back so I could get it scored.
