This morning was to be a very short hunt as my wife wanted to head into the city to catch the after Christmas & Boxing day sales.
Awoke to a slight southwest breeze and a temperature of 0 F but a thick layer of horror frost on the trees made it look much colder than it was.
Drove down to feedlot to see if I could snipe a coyote. After a slow walk following a packed tractor trail, I see one coyote going away and one coming. I set up at a round bale and wait for the new comer to arrive. Not a long shot by any means as this coyote walked to within 36 yards. Coyote # 38
