Went to this stop for the first time this year and took this picture at sunrise.

I was just about to start to make a call and I see movement from the trees in the picture. It is a coyote coming toward me. See my Mojo and keep coming to about 125yd. Stops and turn to my left and stops. I send it a 25gr hp and I hear the most wonderful sound Thwap.
Coyotes rolls gets up and is running. Doesn't make it back to the woods.

Go through my calling sequence and no other coyotes show up. Pick up coyotes and head home to combine some corn.
 
Gotta love that, the coyote doesn't even wait for you to get the calls rolling

I take it your shooting those 25 gr. bullets out of a 17 cal.
What 17 cal. are you using?

Snowshoe its just a standard 17 Remington. And I'm using factory Remington. It's in an AR platform. Wanted to try it, I'm still more parcel to the bolt, it just feels more comfortable. But I got a lot more years with an 22-250.
