Actually the second one she has shot, but the first one recovered. 3 or 4 years ago she tried a head shot on one. It dropped, kicked around a little and got up and ran off and we could't find it. I guess she just grazed that ones head.
Anyway, this was first one we had seen since them. He was at the feeder when we got there this evening, but left before she could get a shot. He came back right before dark. She dropped him in his tracks with the 257 Roberts.
He was a small boar and crippled up in his back legs for some reason. He was pretty poor, and stinky so he only made a picture.
