Apex mode help

Please explain the uses for the "Rock, Forest and ID" modes or point me to reading material for an explanation. Thanks.
 

It’s just for better view / contrast etc. considering where you hunt. You can play around with it from one mode to the other and see what gives the best view. I keep mine set on Identification mode, which seem to work well for me.
