I have Ruger 44 Magnum Carbine. I have shot a few deer with mine.
What say you, How many own that nice carbine. I have a Blackhawk too.

My first gun was it's little brother.In hindsight I wish I'd got big bro next.Turns out it's limited reach is all I've ever needed in near 42 years.
 
Got the BH, and wish I had the carbine!

Wow, how long is the barrel on that BH?? Mine is 7 1/2" but
appears a lot shorter than yours. I also changed the grip. That
trigger guard sure is hard on the middle finger with the wood
grips!!
 
I have a couple of SBHs & have taken over 25 whitetails with them. A couple of years ago I picked up a 77/44 for deer. So far its taken a 8-point and a yote... I wish they still made the semi-carbine and the 96/44.

I have a Ruger .44 Mag carbine... the barrel is stamped "Made in the 200th year of the American liberty".

My dad bought it back in, yep, 1976.
