Collapsible stocks and accuracy

I have reason to believe my collapsible stock is causing some point of impact changes with my 16" 6x45. I think a shorter light barrel gun it's allowing the muzzle to jump differently. Just switching to a fixed stock changed point of impact on one of my loads by 1.5 inch vertically. The other load which is a faster load with a lighter bullet did not change point of impact. Both rounds have the same point of impact now and before the heavy or slower round was 1.5 in lower.
I'm just curious if any of you guys have experienced this.
