300 yards proved fatal on this buck with an 80gr TTSX @2975 fps. Quartering away, the bullet struck high in the lung, through the spine, and lodged under the skin of the neck on the opposite side. He dropped in his tracks and never moved.
The TTSX appears to have retained 99% + weight. I'm a little surprised it did not pass completely through, but it performed perfectly. Impact velocity was about 2200 fps. The thwack! sound of the impact was loud and clear from 300 yards away.
If coyotes are the main target, keep the 6DTI, it will whack a deer plenty well. If you are shooting hogs, maybe the 25, they are a toss up but the 6 has a better selection of lighter bullets
