I am in the process of working up a load for my 6DTI

I have searched, Google searched on the 6x6.8, and 6.8 forum to find a recipe.

I have H322, Remington 7/12 primers, 58grain vmax, SSA brass, 1-12 twist, 22 inch barrel

Can somebody please give me a load for what I have listed, with COAL, charge, everything I need please for 58 grain v max

Your coal can very from barrel to barrel. I would start with the H322 at about 29g and work up .2 grains at a time and work up to 30-31grains keeping an eye on pressure you should see velocities from 3450-3600 almost. Another powder I would try is imr8208. I shot imr8208 at 31.7 grains at like 3450, I worked up a load with H322 think I’m at 31 grains and at like 3550. Very accurate 1/2” at 100 yards. Seating depth you you will have to test.

With SSA brass try 31gr 322 58 vmax @ 2.240". Every chamber is a little different. This load shot the best out of my 12 twist. 3550 fps Not the fastest but the best shooting.

My loads with 8208 were with federal brass and cci 450, the H322 loads were with sb brass and the sb primers with never shot brass. Either primer should be fine the 7 1/2 or cci450. Just start low at the 29grains and work up looking for pressure. I would highly recommend chronographing while you work up that can show you were your supposed to be too. I know some guys ha e had good luck with the Nosler ballistic tip bullets too I couldn’t get mine to shoot the 55 or 70s as good as the hornady Vmaxes. Mine is just a 6x6.8 with a blackhole barrel. I use a Redding bushing die.

I shot 31 grains of h322 with a 58 and a 450 primer in my 6x6.8 I was getting like 3650 FPS. 8208 gave me better accuracy at around 3550 fps

I found h322 to be more edgy and peaky when trying to run full throttle. I found tac has a smoother pressure curve when running max speeds on the edge of pressure. H322 is a second choice. I shoot 55 grain Sierra bk’s with 34.1 grains of tac about 3525 FPS from a 20 inch barrel
