I could not help myself last night,

After reading about how smooth this system is i ordered one up. I have a short barrel permit and a Surefire RC-2 Suppressor. I did not mind at all that this system came pinned and welded. Its a pain to clock & rock-set the flash hider anyway. This will ensure the flash hider does not come loose while removing a sticky suppressor.

The thing came with a BCG and the Geissele Super 42 spring and buffer system.

Probably should not have.... But i did... And am exited for it to show up.

This rifle turned out shooting softer than any rifle i have. Suppressed it piles them up at the 4:00. Un suppressed it is unbelievable.

I went up to 23.6 grains of IMR XBR 8208 with groups in the 3/4 - 1.0 range with Hornady 75gr HPBT's.

Next time at the range i will go up until i find pressure. There are no pressure signs at that charge weight, and speeds around 2525fps.

I am looking for 2560fps. That is what i get with AR-Comp at 22.9 grains. Accuracy seems to favor XBR 8208 in that rifle.

Sierra 77's with AR-Comp shot real nice at 200 yards also. Just one 5 shot group on that combo. 2.25 inches. Absolutely adequate for the designed intentions of the rifle.

It shoots 2011 LC M855's at 2860fps on an 80° day.

That is darned fine for a 14.5 inch barrel.
