LOL, I've powder smudged the inside of more than one new cap when I forgot my brass catcher. Shooters see me at the range sporting a new cap, they ask if I need to borrow a dirty one. This has saved many pieces of my match prepped brass in the field.

Reminds me, I bought a brass catcher and never used it. I’ll have to dig around in the safe and I’ve it a try.
