6mm BR

I use the 6mmBR, but the only bullet I use is the 55 grain nosler BT. Most accurate and the best bullet I've tried on prairie dogs.

55gr BT for me too 4200 fps inn my 6mm rem.
I use a 80 tts Barnes for wolf, antelope, deer and bear.

Uncle, sounds like you have long freebore in your chamber?

in a 27", 12T, I shoot the 55g,58g,60g,70g all with AA2230 and Rem 7 1/2's.

80g bergers blew threw P. dogs with little effect, 80g Sierra blitz bt were more explosive, H4895.

Explosive bullets going fast are the fun thing with pd's. I shoot 55/58's at about 3900 n mine. Very satisfying results.

I use one with 105 Amax's. I have a huge stockpile of them I bought when hornady discontinued them. I also carry two 22-250's and a 20 practical which gets most of the use, but when the wind is up and the distances are long they turn into wiffle balls and the 6BR with the 8-32 nightforce comes out. Those 105's buck the wind really well and nothing else I have will hang with it at distance. The PD's don't explode like with the 22-250's shooting 55 gr. ballistic tips but they still pop OK. It's my big stick for going long and does what the others won't. It's not my primary PD rifle, but it definitely fills a niche that nothing else will fill.
