nikon monarch ucc 6.5 x 20 x44

Just snagged a "new in the box" Nikon Monarch UCC 6.5 x 20 x44 at a LGS, for $225.
The box still had original price tag from "Scheels" for $469 and all factory paper work manuel in the box too.
I don't know what year Nikon discontinued this scope but its been a few years ago I think. comes with sun-shade and a 2nd set of turrets. The box says made in Japan.

this one has the niko-plex reticle. I think I got a good deal.

Very good scopes were/are made in Japan. Even Tasco before they
became Trashco. I've had one for many years and will never get
rid of it.
 
I still have a UCC Monarch 6-16. Used it for many years. Shot a lot of coyotes on moonlight snow nights. To my eyes the best glass I've had. Never could get used to the BDC retical.
