I reached out to my rep and he replied:
There will be quite a few differences. First, the picture will be clearer due to the lower pixel pitch and improved sensor resolution in the new Axion models. This will also lead to greater magnification and the ability to see clearer at longer distances. The Axion is significantly smaller (size of a standard rangefinder) with a lanyard attachment that is easy to throw around your neck for easy scanning. The last major difference will be the new Axion XM30 will have StreamVision and the ability to record.
If your customer has the funds to make the switch, I would suggest doing so because the new Axion will be quite a big upgrade over the Quantum.
