The bugs are needed to get rid of what the cats waste. On the other hand if the cats were not wasting the big bugs would not be needed.
Our ancestors thought a better use for Elk was to eat them themselves.
Now we have lots of hawks here. But no quail.Very few Rabbits.
We have Otters. But no fish left in our ponds as the Otters move in and eat everything.
We have Coyote now and Fawns are taking a hit.
I would rather eat Quail and fish than hawks and otters.
