Thanks Adam. I did too. The Virginia Predator Grandslam is almost visible in that photo. The Gray Fox is out of frame. Didnt even realize it when I snapped the shot.

I never did weigh it. No more than 20-22 lbs at best.

They don't. I checked this one in via phone and was asked by the Virginia Fish and Game Department if I was going to sell it's fur or have it shipped out of state for any reason. I said NO, they told me all I needed was a Game Commission Confirmation Number which they gave me. My taxidermist is local here in Va and that is all I had to do.

I looked it up in the Game Regulations just to be sure some rookie hadn't misinformed me. NO CITES tag is needed as long as I don't buy, sell, barter, trade, solicit for purchase or transport out of state. Just a Game Commission Confirmation Number.

Other states may have other options.
