You can't listen to an .FXP or LD files on your CPU so you're going to have the 2 callers next to each other to compare the true sound files.
FOXPRO allows you to hear a voiced over sample on their website. Does LD allow the same? That would be the only way besides having the 2 brands in front of you to listen to that I know of.
