Which of these two rounds is somewhat fur friendly especially on fox and bobcat. 223 55gr Barnes TSX or Black hills 52gr match hp reason those two I've read quite Abit about those two being fur friendly

Can’t comment on bobcats but the 52gr BTHP will blow a fox open pretty bad on exit. It might not on a perfect chest shot. The Barnes come out nice and clean and is the reason I only run Barnes now. Absolute worst case scenario if you catch a rib or shoulder really bad you might have a quarter size exit but it’s typically dime sized. They work plain a simple, they’re going to exit but it won’t blow them up.

Match bullets tend to explode. I never shot black hills, used to use ttsx for hunting. They always left tiny exit holes.

The 52 grain Black Hills hp will make a mess of a gray fox if you hit any bone on the way in. Soft ball exit holes. Head shots will be even more messy. Great prairie dog bullet, I used to buy them buy the 5000 round case, but plague wiped out all the good spots.
