Vortex crossfire gen 1 value

I have a first gen vortex crossfire 6-24x50 this is the model with the target turrets and sun shade. It’s been great on .204’s and 22-250’s but I’m needing a scope for a 7mag and want to upgrade to either the viper or a razor. I have no idea what to even ask for this scope as I never see any of them up for sale anymore. I can’t even remember what I paid for it. Any idea where to start?

Thats a hundred dollar scope at best on the used market.

Probably worth more to you if you just put it on the shelf and save it for another rifle down the road.

Yea just looked on eBay there’s a used 32 power at $182 with 3 days left and 5 bidders. Allot better than what I thought

That's what I started doing years ago....but now have a drawer
full of scopes like that.

While your writing songs, write one about all the scopes I should have sold but decided to keep in a drawer.

I'd say keep it. Use it as a backup, of even for troubleshooting a scope/rifle if something like that ever occurs.
