Hog hunting in Little River SC

A long time friend is buying a winter home in Little River SC. I have hunted hogs a few times in TX for 12-14 years so I was curious how the hog populations are in the Little River area? And is there much farm land with owners willing to allow access?
 
I can't advise on Little River, Sc but I can report that there is a 25,000 acre public hunting area called Woodbury WMA in Marion County SC. We go there every year for the "still hunt" hog season. Private ground has no closed season on hogs in SC but the WMA's have designated seasons for still hunting and dog hunting. Below is a link to Woodbury WMA. Lots of hogs and hog sign out that way near the Pee Dee rivers.
