some good reading and info here fellows. hunt in southwest Michigan and waiting for deer season to end. this will allow for the yotes to settle down. they are a super spooky now with 800 thousand deer hunters pounding the woods and corn fields. hunt with a .243, 58gr.v-max for knockdown power, as pretty easy for a yote to make it to a neighbors property if hit in the lungs. hoping to learn a lot and share a few mistakes and successes along the way.

I grew up south/west of you, have special memories of hunting SW Mich.
My hunting buddy there says pheasants are long gone, sad thing that.
