Is there a way to do a snare set for coyote to avoid catching a bobcat. We have a couple of cats in our area that I do not want to remove,only coyotes.
 
U can use a relaxing lock & put on a deer stop that wont let the lock go tighter then your fist...…..this set up should not choke a cat out & may not choke a coyote out BUT u can still dispatch whichever & let go whatever with a catch pole & some cable cutters..Good Luck!!!!!!!!

Setting the snare higher off the ground should help. Relax locks are quite lethal and usually dispatch wild critters, it might save a dog.
