Election Day results

So depending which fake news source you use the election could go either way.
I personally feel the GOP will hold on, and likely will extend their hold on the house and senate.
What's your take?

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS!

Trump's turnout gives me hope. Like most, I think turnout is key.

If the fake news surveyed people, and everyone of them said they would vote Republican, they would probably put it in the news that their survey results were that people overwhelmingly were going to vote for Democrats! I trust polls about as much as I trust the weather forecast!
Agree with Stu, only when the results are in will anyone know the outcome, it's now all in the hands of the voters!

I can only go with what I have experienced. I moved, took a job and it has been upward and on ward. I happen to be in the rock business, we are running 50-60 hrs a week and can't find enough help. I have passed my probation period, fully paid company insurance and received $1.50 per hour in raises, and a company pickup.
The last president's policies lost me a $100k per year job, after my insurance shot past the moon.

Ok, CNN put those facts on your "Ticker"

Looks like the take is self explanatory.

Democrats now control the house and will have Trump's tax returns soon.

Sessions departure is even too much for some Republicans.

The vote count in total was around 9 million in favor of Democrats and even the ones the Republicans did win, they barely won in deep Red districts and states.

This is the beginning of the end for Trump and I won't shed one tear when he's escorted out the front door of the White House for good.

Y'all have a nice day now.

This time Cruz won the Texas Senate seat with less than 250,000 vote lead, in 2012 he won that seat with a lead of over 1,100,000 lead in votes.

The people are changing.

Why do you think the libs want all those illegals in Texas? It isn't because they are kind hearted lol. If you can't win over the people that are here, bring in new people. Turn Texas blue, it's very difficult for Republicans to win.

I think your logic is flawed dog. Cruz lost much of his support among Republicans because of his hardline stance against Trump in the months following the election. I'm surprised Ted Cruz was able to get re-elected at all.

Also, take into account the massive leftist voter fraud that is allowed to occur. Those of whom we entrust with the rule of law turn a blind eye to all types of corruption. Bought off by the likes of george soros and many other elites who have a steak in what they call (Not my words, but in their own words) the fundamental transformation of America. They only lie, obfuscate, ridicule, obstruct justice, and pretend that it isn't possible or that anyone who questions their authority are just racist bigots or white privileged rednecks.

Cruz sat on his laurels looking at O'Rourke as a bump in the road to his reelection, while O'Rourke was out campaigning. All at once Cruz saw the headlights that were behind him sitting almost next to him. Cruz may not be the best Texas has to offer, but he was the lessor of the 2 evils that were running. But he spent 2 years running for President, when he should have been doing the job we elected him to do. Senator Cornyn's turn is coming up next, I would be surprised if there is not another "Beto" chasing him for the job.

The voter fraud excuse is a cop out, it no way accounted for over a million vote decrease for Cruz. Both parties, the state and local governments had many watch dogs watching for fraud. But the increase in Democrat votes was state wide, not just a few counties, how would that be accomplished without a leak of information. A million people? That many people the leaks of information about fraud would look like a rusty bucket with out a bottom flowing freely.

That's because democrat voters are fleeing the democrat created cesspool of California and moving to Texas that promotes a better business climate and lower taxes. They don't realize that democrats actually caused them to reject the socialist model and continue to vote democrat. Nobody said they weren't ignorant fools.

The demographics are changing indeed and the democrats are leaning further and further towards socialism. Thus their encouragement of the massive influx of illegals who will further expedite this change.

Massive voter registration is, and has been underway along the border, and border counties are solid blue already. Voter turnout for this election in this county was 3X what it was in the last mid-term election and, I fear, will only increase the blue influence on Texas politics.

Yes, that campaign took a nasty turn and tarnished Ted Cruz's image for a lot of us, but, to his credit, he has supported the President's efforts of late. I believe that, and the importance of retaining the Senate overrode the negative effect of the presidential campaign in the minds of most voters. The radical left tilt of the undocumented Irishman also helped to seal the deal.
