Mountains+Snow: Jeep Vs Truck?

As far as a go anywhere, do anything vehicle in the mountains in the winter, do y’all prefer a Jeep or Truck?

Pros and cons of each?

I haven't had my Jeep long enough for a fair comparison, but I know I could fit a lot more stuff in my truck.

I haven't had my current truck in the mountains but having a Silverado crew cab with a long box doesn't maneuver that well.

My wife had a Jeep for a while I didnt care for the lack of power and room.

I think a Nissian Frontier crew cab or Toyota Tacoma crew cab would be about perfect for 90% of my needs.

I don’t have mountains but coming off 3 (1988, 1988, 1992) Toyota’s I much prefer my 2004 duramax crew cab which I’m now heading into winter 9 with. I always had 285/75r16 mud tires on factory rims. Way better in snow and lots of room. Have 35’s this year.
