Where's the reports about the 736? They've been on the market for a while and I don't see much about them. I figured they would really be a viable longer range thermal..
 
They are great for that. Just not that many people need a high native magnification as it has. Its more of a speciality scope. The 536 and 233 are much more popular becasue of the lower mag.

I've got a friend who has one. He likes it. The field of view is very small but a trade off is with the 6x native magnification you won't need to use the zoom as often so the 320 resolution will put it on roughly the same performance level as a 2x zoomed 640 with a 3x native magnification.
Personally I prefer a wider field of view.
