Nevada Yoke Hunting

I was thinking of coming to Ely or thereabouts in late Spring to hunt. Is there much public land there & would this be a good time to come? I’m open to any suggestions. Thanks.

Lots of public ground. By spring the dumb coyotes will be dead. Anything left will be tough to call. You should have come to the PM convention last week. Fall is the best time there to call. I know there used to be several contests out of Ely during the winter but I don't know if they still do them.

Yes sir, my nephew downed a couple and I downed one, Reb and his wife were the real "Yoke" Slayers.

My nephew and I dropped a bunch of coyotes over the week also.

So, maybe then I’ll shift to the Fall. Best month - Oct or Nov? Do I need a non-resident license?

October or November will work. No license required for coyotes as long as you don't plan on selling the hides.
