7.62x39mm for hogs?

I have a new Ruger American Ranch rifle in 7.62 x 39 Russian. Is it enough gun for hogs out to 150-200 yards?

Mine works well out to 100(1.5moa).. At 200 your just chunking lead or steel projectiles hoping for a hit.
With a 30 round mag they can be fun!!

200 yards and in should be no problem.

Staying on the hog at 200 won't be the problem. Does it have enough energy left to make a clean kill?

Monarch 7.62x39, 123gr HP, Academy Sports, $6/Box...These work good out to 150ish with thermal scoped AR15-47.
